The National Pastime Theater Has Moved!
After years of producing great shows in the old speakeasy location on North Broadway Avenue, the National Pastime Theater has moved to a great new location in the Uptown neighborhood. The new address is 941 W. Lawrence Avenue. just east of N. Sheridan Road.
If you are coming from Route 41, just exit at Lawrence Avenue and drive west a few blocks to get to the historic Preston Bradley building. If you are coming from the west via the Kennedy Expressway, take the Lawrence exit and drive east. Look for the theater building when you pass Sheridan Road. The Lawrence stop on the CTA Red Line and bus routes 36, 81, 145 and 151 are all within 3 blocks of the theater.
Parking Information:
$5 paid parking for all NPT events is available at the Weiss Hospital Parking Garage located at 4650 N. Clarendon, one block east and half a block south from the theater. Just bring your parking ticket to the theater for validation and payment. The $5 parking voucher is valid from 6:00 pm until 4:00 am on show days. Street parking near the theater is often available and is free.
The new National Pastime Theater is located on the 4th floor of the historic Preston Bradley Center.
